Arran is fondly referred to as Scotland in miniature, and is considered by many to possess all the scenic characteristics of Scotland, in the one easily accessible small Island. It is very possible to explore mountains, like the wonderful Goatfell above (Wineport sits right at the bottom of the entrance to Goatfell), beaches and Heritage sites all in the one day.
With the introduction of RET for ferries to and from the Island, it is now much cheaper to take a car across, so why not come and explore our Island soon.
