The Wineport on Arran | About Us

The Wineport is a family and dog friendly bar bistro situated in Cladach at the bottom of Goat Fell beside Brodick Castle, Arran Brewery, the garden centre and various craft and gift shops. There are ample parking facilities but if you prefer to walk it can be reached on foot from Brodick via the popular Fisherman's Walk, part of the Arran Coastal Route.
Open six days a week, we serve drinks and delicious home baking from 11am and lunches from 12pm. The menu is is simple, hearty, homemade fare using the best local and Scottish produce.

Homemade favourites include Cullen Skink, Scotch Egg and Smoked Mackerel Pate. The ever requested Steak Ciabatta with Peppercorn Sauce remains a firm favourite with customers. Lighter options include a Greek Salad or Skipness Hot Smoked Salmon & Crispy Caper Salad. These can all be rounded off with one of the house specialities; Warm Chocolate Brownie & Homemade Salted Caramel Ice-cream.

The majority of the menu is available as a gluten free option.

The Wineport prides itself on its warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. The large beer garden is a total sun trap and the perfect place to sit back and enjoy coffee and homemade cake, a delicious lunch or to simply have a drink with friends in the sunshine.

So if you have climbed Goat Fell and deserve a pint of Arran Ale, been strolling round Brodick Castle Gardens or the neighbouring shops and need a nice cool drink or been sitting on the beautiful beach across the road and fancy an Arran Dairies Ice-cream this is the place to go!

Summer hours are Open 7 days a week between the hours of 11am and 5pm for drinks, tea, coffee and home baking.
Food served 11.30am-4pm
